The year started on with first un successful attempt at XAT (don’t know how many more are remaining???). READ THE WHOLE DIASTROUS MISERABLE ATTEMPT AT EARLIER POST. The first of its kind end semester stared without the declaration of previous semester result . We were the sole branch to attend the lectures that too in 4th year. In the mean time I had a 2 day FMS trip to Kolkata.( again a disaster. read below……) The only lecture happening at that point of time was of MECH branch and that too of HISTORY OF CAD/CAM. All irritated soles were attending lectures giving the blessing of lifetime to the HOD & frenchy.(BLESSING???)Kisne HOD banaya use? Accha tha SHMBH.. hod that toh!!!!!!
This was proceeded by declaration of result after 15 days and the registeration. The people of the next class had their result declared after 14 more days from us. Which had some surprises hidden for many of us???? We being the senior most batch were ashamed of attending first class in the morning as the whole campus had a calm, placid look except for the so called gutch MECH branch. It was even revolting and called for a mutiny against the frenchy (?????????). Who taught us HISTORY OF CAD/CAM.
As if the CAD/CAM was related to some pre historian period won after a sepoy mutiny? Otherwise why on EARTH shall one study such crap. (RIP that Frnchy)
Further n numbers of treats were pending one after another. We had a gala time attending those leg piece treats.
The starter continued for 2 hours and the main course for just 30 minutes.
There was different strategy adopted by different people. Some would go for a walk after every 30 min to attack the food again after gathering space in their stomach. Some would loosen their belt, keep the watch on table and move around to have their demonic attack on the innocent leg piece served lavishly after an interval. The republic day celebration clashed with the T20 between the home team and XLRI. Where the under prepared visiting team was bludgeoned, brutally thrashed by the exuberant home team. One day strike by the teachers for some old demand lasted for less than 3 hours. (SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!) Few clashes due to the ideology of egoistic people were the order of the day. Just for the sake of their own words of least importance and called for mass rebellion. Further the annual sports got postponed by a week. The reason being unavailability of the director. The new date coincided with GATE, V-DAY. Seeing the poor gathering on the field on GATE day made a professor chuckled:
“Where has everybody gone FOR GATE or for DATE ???????”
The only possible answer being………….
There was occasional declaration of auspicious entrance exam results that bode no surprises in for me. Usually I fail in those events where

Further the rumors regarding the CAT result was the hot news of the month. A cricket match between the faculties & student of MECH. A marathon organized by the V&E club. The program was organized successfully within a span of 34 hours. Thanks to the head V&E club. Lastly it was time for the routine MIDSEM. The declared exam routine had a gap of 1day between every successive exam. This gave full freedom & opportunity to all souls. So now we had treats, holi celebration between exams, witnessed willingly the Sachin’s 200. There was mass cancellation of tickets due to the extended examination timetable. Everyone wanted to go home soon for the HOLI celebration with family after the placement. So this was all about the 2010 till now.
There are N numbers of event in the pipeline for the current month. Hope I would track even those.
